Thanks everybody!
Yay for better quality! Happy New Year to everyone! I decided that canon characters get more favourites than OCs and I felt like drawing Ash and Misty again. ;D Also, I like Psyduck, you can't have Ash without Pikachu....and I just couldn't bring myself to leave Togetic out.
Anyway, I wasn't sure what to draw and then I kind of felt like drawing something dramatic since it's the end of the world and all so yeah, it ended up like this. I kind of like it, but then again, I kind of wanted it to turn out better. Either way, I see an improvement since my last PokéShipping picture so it's all good!
So like everone else, I LOVE the emotions this picture contains, and the emotions it makes me feel! I can really see the worry and panic in their eyes, and this is stunning: the shadows, the color, I could not find an major flaws in hear. There was something that bothered me though: Take a look at Misty's right arm. The hand arm is far too short; it should either stick out more or be lower for it to be proportional. A couple other minor things to watch out for are Ash's left arm and leg. The lower leg should be a little long, just a little. I'm a bit at a loss a what bothers me with the arm, but I think it has to do with the angle of the arm, and the angle where his armpit is. Otherwise, stunning work. (In case you're wondering, there's not too much "original" in this, but it really is a great idea, so props to that!) Imma bad guy, hate me if you'd like, but nice art!
Alright... well, I'm a die hard Pokèfan, but I'm a critic when it comes to art work. Of course, I'm not a negative one, so I don't usually leave critique's... but... I can't help it on this one. Actually, I can't place a fault. It looks amazingly like the actual style Best Wishes is drawn in, it could nearly be mistaken for a screen shot! For one, the background is amazing, the darkness really sets the mood, along with Satoshi's (Ash) desperate expression as he runs. Although the Best Wishes saga is much more... well, "dark" than the original series, this picture has the best of both worlds. Not only does it seem that the world is going to collapse around them, but also, Psyduck gives it that homey touch that fills me with nostalgia. I adore the outfit you gave Kasumi (Misty), and how you've made her mature. Another thing, even though many things drastically changed in the style of the way the series is drawn in this new generation, you kept Misty the same in a lot of ways, which warms my heart. Her eyes still blue-green, have adapted to the show, and they look amazing. Another thing, Satoshi is holding Kasumi's hand. This reminds me of Musashi (Jessie) and Kojiro (James) in a way. They always had unnecessary touching and hugging back in the original series... I can imagine Kasumi and Satoshi doing that too, now that the thought has dawned on Satoshi that Kasumi is actually a girl, since he seemed to think of her more as a best friend back when she still traveled alongside him and Takeshi (Brock), while Kasumi most likely thought of him as /more/. Yes, I'm a huge Pokèshipper, and I love this picture.
